About Operator Chris Wright

Wright has been a member of the Chick-fil-A family since he was 15 and was hired as a Team Member in Mansfield, Texas. He was recognized for his hard work and academics with a Chick-fil-A Leadership Scholarship, which he used to attend the University of Texas at Arlington. Having fallen in love with the company’s commitment to service and leadership, he went to work for Wayne Hassler who operated the Chick-fil-A at South Cooper in Arlington. With mentoring from Hassler, Wright continued being recognized and was promoted to general manager at age 19, helping to continue his dream to become a Chick-fil-A Operator.

Wright graduated with a degree in business management and entered the company’s interim management program to continue his Operator journey while managing and opening restaurants across the country. Becoming a Chick-fil-A Operator is no small feat with the company receiving some 40,000 applications yearly for approximately 100 franchise opportunities. In 2012, his dream was realized when he was finally awarded the Chick-fil-A in Tulsa, Okla. He is thrilled to return to the state he called home and where his love for the brand was developed. He and his Team Members are excited to be the first to bring fresh, hot food and fast service to the Prosper community.

Wright is committed to providing the same leadership development he was taught, helping him earn the loyalty of his Team Members. In fact, six Team Members with a combined 24 years of experience with Wright, will be joining him in Prosper. He also is mentoring three of his team as they strive to follow in his footsteps to become Operators as well.

Supported by his wife, Jennifer, and their three children, the Wright family are thrilled to be a part of Prosper  and look forward to spending many years in their new city and community they now call home.
